JAY — Paul Raymond LeBlanc, 49, of Jay, passed away unexpectedly Monday, Jan. 31.

Paul was born in Rumford, Sept. 8, 1961, the son of Raymond and Louise Dubord LeBlanc. He was a 1980 graduate of Jay High School. He was currently employed by the Jay School Department as a custodian and bus driver. His joy in life was encouraging and being there for others; he loved working with the children of Jay Elementary School.

Paul’s favorite pastime growing up was spending time with his dad, participating in the sport of pigeon racing. He loved watching the Dallas Cowboys and reading God’s word. Paul had a wonderful sense of humor that brought a smile to everyone who knew him. He was very dedicated to serving the Lord at Emmanuel Assembly of God in Livermore Falls, a church he helped build and was a member of for 24 years.

Paul’s passion was his family. He was married to Bonnie Burke in 1986, and he loved her very much. His daughters were his pride and joy. His love for his wife and daughters was characterized by selflessness, encouragement and support. He was an outstanding father and husband.

Paul is survived by his wife, Bonnie; daughters, Anna, Elizabeth and Rosie; parents, Raymond and Louise LeBlanc; brother, Dale LeBlanc; sister, Donna Landry and her husband, Ken; and many nieces and nephews.
