LEWISTON — The Lewiston Recreation Department has announced there is still plenty of room for families and individuals on Open Gym nights that are occurring at the Lewiston Memorial Armory, 65 Central Ave., through March 17.

Family Night is celebrated on Wednesdays from 6:45 to 7:45 p.m. for kindergarten children through grade six. Parents/legal guardians must accompany their children during that time slot.

Later in the evening from 8:15 to 9:15 p.m., time is open for high school students in grades nine to 12.

Grades six through eight are welcome from 6:45 to 7:45 p.m Thursdays and 18+ individuals are encouraged to use the gym from 8:15 to 9:15.

The cost to participate is $2 for adults; ages 5 to 17, $1; and under 5, free. Toddlers 4 and under are not permitted on the court areas during open gym.
