PARIS — Swingin’ Bears Square Dance Club of South Paris will offer one free dance lesson for beginners at 6:30 p.m.Wednesday, Feb. 9, at the Oxford Hills Middle School, Pine Street.
Club members encourage all who started in January to go and review the calls they learned. Due to the cancellation of several classes because of the weather, Al Hipkins, club caller, will start from scratch. For more information call Sue Corning, secretary, at 577-6893.
The club will hold its Sweetheart Dance from 7 to 10 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 12, at the Oxford Hills Middle School.
Jay Silva will call for the square dancing and Carol Stewart will cue the round dancing. Refreshments will be served at intermission. There will be door prizes and a pot of gold drawing.
Admission is $6 a person. Nondancers are welcome to watch at no charge.
