LIVERMORE FALLS — Police are investigating vandalism to three vehicles in a driveway in the vicinity of 580 Park St. on Friday morning. The initial estimate of damage was about $3,000.
A large vehicle believed to be a truck or sport utility vehicle pulled into the driveway and rammed into a vehicle, causing extensive damage to the passenger side, Lt. Thomas Gould said.
Police believe the driver got out and smashed windows in that vehicle and two others that were parked in the driveway before speeding off, Gould said.
Police are hoping someone driving by saw the offending vehicle. If so, call police at 897-3424.
The incident occurred between 6:20 a.m. and 6:45 a.m., Gould said.
A resident in the home heard the noise, but the vehicle had fled toward town by the time they were able to check, Gould said.
He said police believe the three vehicles were not owned by residents of the home where the vandalism took place.
