LEWISTON — Jan Barrett, owner and innkeeper of the Ware Street Inn in Lewiston, recently returned from the annual Professional Association of Innkeepers international conference in Charleston, S.C. At the conference, Barrett was appointed to a two-year term on the association’s advisory council.
PAII represents more than 2,300 member inns and bed and breakfast establishments internationally. The advisory council is made up of a select group of innkeepers and vendors who come together once a year to discuss strategically important goals and projects. Council members are chosen based on their experience, involvement in the association and knowledge of the industry in general.
