RUMFORD — The Rumford Hospital Development Committee welcomed two new members as it planned for the next 2010-2011 Annual Appeal mailing.
Dr. Jerrold Cohen and Lolisa Windover joined the committee at the invitation of Development Committee Chairwoman Barbara Belanger. The group is charged with helping plan fundraising as well as ways to thank and honor hospital donors.
In addition to developing a March annual appeal mailing, the committee is planning a reception to honor people who have given to the annual appeal for 10 years or more.
The 10-year donors will be presented with special Rumford Hospital Annual Appeal pins to honor them for their loyalty to the appeal, which is now 11 years old. Invitations to the spring event will be mailed to more than 60 donors.
