WEST PARIS — Mary R. Keoskie died Feb. 5, at Ledgeview Living Center.

She was born in Bethel, Oct. 10, 1920, the daughter of Herman and Sadye Kelley Robertson. She graduated from Gould Academy in 1939.

On May 28, 1943, she married the love of her life, Charles Keoskie. When he retired from the service, they returned to Bethel to make their home and raise their two children. Mary was active in the Rumford Community Hospital Auxiliary and Purity Chapter OES. She enjoyed playing golf, downhill skiing (until she suffered a broken ankle), traveling, dancing and playing bridge.

She loved the holidays and she and Charlie always entertained the whole extended family with great hospitality. The reunions were another favorite time and family and friends were happy and pleased to be able to gather and enjoy their pool, anytime. Mary was great at sewing, crocheting and knitting, which she was still doing at Ledgeview.

She is survived by her husband, Charles of Ledgeview; her daughter, Carol A. Morin (Jim); her son, William R. (Bill); three grandsons; two granddaughters; six great-grandsons; seven great-granddaughters; a brother, Fenton (Ethel) of Richmond, Calif.; a sister, Helen Cummings of Bethel; many loving nieces and nephews; and a great many dear friends.

She was predeceased by three brothers, Winfield, Henry and William.
