BRIDGTON — The Bridgton Community Center will offer an American Red Cross babysitter’s training course from 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Thursday and Friday, Feb. 24 and 25.

Attendees will receive a certificate at the end of the two-day course.

The basic course gears toward ages 11 to 14, teaching them information on leadership, safe and responsible babysitting, basic care and basic first aid, including infant and child CPR.

Fee for the class will be $55, which covers the cost of the book and a CD, as well as other information that participants will be able to take home with them for reference.

Class size is limited to 10 candidates. Bring a bag lunch
