BRUNSWICK — New England Regional Theater Company, formerly New England Youth Theater, will hold auditions for its spring youth production, “The Sound of Music,” on Friday and Saturday, Feb. 11-12.

Tryouts for children and young adults, ages 5 to 19 years, will begin at 6 p.m. on both days at Studio 48 Performing Arts Center, 20 Davis St. Children under 12 are asked to attend auditions at 5:30 p.m. on Saturday, if possible.

Participants will be asked to sing a song. A piece from “The Sound of Music” is acceptable, but not required. Because auditioners will be learning a short dance piece, comfortable clothing is advised. All auditioners must bring a photo and, if available, a resume. Professional head shots are not required; a school photo is sufficient.
