Music, dance

RUMFORD — Rumford Performing Arts will sponsor music and dancing at 7 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 19, at the Rumford Falls Auditorium. Music will be provided by Coos Canyon.

Ticket can be purchased in advance for $8 at Bartash Card and Gift. Admission at the door will be $10. The cost for children under 12 accompanied by an adult is $5.

Hot coffee, bottled water and desserts will be available at the Food Court. An elevator is accessible at the police station entrance.

Seek contestants

RUMFORD — Black Mountain will host it’s third annual Winter Fest the weekend of March 4 to 6. The annual chili-chowder contest will take place at noon Sunday, March 6, in the base lodge.

The mountain is accepting reservations from restaurants, chefs or individuals who would like to participate. First-place prizes in each category will win a $50 gift card. Contact Black Mountain at 364-8977 to save a spot.
