LIVERMORE FALLS — The new consolidated Jay, Livermore and Livermore school system will be known as Regional School Unit 73.
RSU 36 Superintendent Sue Pratt said she received notice of the official number Thursday afternoon.
Voters in all three towns decided Jan. 25 to consolidate their schools.
The two school boards are scheduled to meet at 6 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 17, at the Livermore Falls High School cafeteria to continue the process.
RSU 73 becomes operational July 1.
