TURNER — Senior Courtney Anderson poured in a career-best 37 points on senior night as Leavitt pounced on Oak Hill 75-47 in girls’ Class B basketball.

The senior also grabbed seven rebounds and dished out seven assists in the victory. She also sank a trio of 3-point baskets. The undefeated Hornets dominated from the start taking 20-13, and 46-27 leads after each of the first two frames cruising to their 18th victory of the season.

Leavitt senior Abbey Randall drilled a pair of 3-pointers to finish with 10 points. Adrianna Newton registered 14 points while handling eight rebounds for the Hornets. Leavitt will play in the KVAC Class B championship game Saturday.

Abby Goulet led the Raiders with 12 points, including a pair of 3-pointers. Jess Roberts followed with nine points in the loss for the Raiders (12-6)

Skowhegan 52, Mt. Blue 46

FARMINGTON — After trailing by three points at the half, Skowhegan rallied in the fourth quarter and pulled out a 52-46 victory over Mt. Blue.

Amanda Johnson led the Indians (10-8) with 22 points, including six in a key 12-4 run in that final frame. Chelsey Whittemore also contributed with nine points.

The Cougars (4-14) were paced by Jillian Perron with 14 points and 13 rebounds. Gabby Foy also contributed with 14 points, the only other player in double figures.

NYA 50, Poland 35

YARMOUTH — Morgan Scully and Charlotte Esancy combined for 26 points to help lead North Yarmouth Academy to a 50-35 victory over Poland in a WMC basketball game Thursday.

NYA led by one point after the first quarter and increased their lead to 21-15 at the half. After another tight third quarter, NYA (10-8) took their eight point lead into the fourth quarter outscoring the Knights 18-11 to seal the victory. Scully finished with a game-high 14 points including a 3-point basket. Esancy followed with 12 points. Eliza Gendron and Blair Haggert each tallied 10 points in the victory.

The Knights (2-16) were led by Emily Bolduc’s seven points. Britina Maheux and Lindsay Theriault netted six points apiece in the loss.

Kents Hill 38, Hebron 36

READFIELD — Kents Hill outscored Hebron 15-9 in the final quarter to come back and take one away from the Lumberjacks with a 38-36 victory in girls’ basketball action.

Trailing 27-23, the Huskies got their strongest effort offensively for the two-point win. Brittany Sharpe dumped in 18 points to lead Kents Hill (5-8).

Janelle Bradish paced Hebron with a game-high 21 points. Olivia Brown chipped in with six points in the loss for the Lumberjacks (8-8).
