BRUNSWICK — Maine State Music Theatre is looking for energetic children to perform in two shows this season, “Annie” and “The Wiz.”

Auditions will be held from 2 to 6 p.m. on Saturday, March 12, by appointment only. To make an appointment, contact Kathi Kacinski at jobs@msmt.org or 725-8760, extension 11.

For “Annie,” girls between 6 and 15 are needed to play Annie and her fellow orphans. Candidates must be able to act, sing and dance.

For “The Wiz,” the theater is for African-American children. Those auditioning  must be between 6 and 15 years old and be able to act, sing and dance.

Those auditioning are asked to bring a headshot and a resume stapled together and sheet music, and to be prepared with the songs “Tomorrow” and “Maybe.”

Show runs are from June 29 to July 16, with eight performances a week.

The Maine State Music Theater is at 14 Elm St.
