RUMFORD — Patrol officers responded to 76 complaints from Feb. 6 to 14, not including basic traffic stops.

Arrests/summonses

Feb. 06 at 11:45 p.m. — Mandisa Jackson, 19, of Rumford was charged with illegal possession of marijuana, by Cpl. Lawrence Winson on Main Street, Mexico. Jackson is scheduled to appear in Rumford District Court on April 5.

Feb. 7 at 12:27 a.m. — Ashley Morisette, 20, of Mexico was arrested on a warrant charging failure to appear for operating without a license, by Cpl. Lawrence Winson on Main Street, Mexico. Morisette posted $160 secured bail and was released.

Feb. 7 at 9:35 a.m. — Troy Lake, 41, of Rumford was arrested on a charge of operating after suspension and violation conditions of release, by Patrolman Brad Gallant on Route 108. Lake was unable to post bail, was transported to the Oxford County Jail and is scheduled to appear in Rumford District Court on May 3.

Feb. 7 at 3 p.m. — Ramona White, 43, of Peru was charged with passing a stopped school bus with lights flashing, by Sgt. Tracey Higley on Hancock Street. White is scheduled to appear in Rumford District Court on April 5.

Feb. 8 at 7:55 a.m. — Jana Mason, 31, of Rumford was charged with operating after suspension, by Patrolman Brad Gallant on Penobscot Street. Mason is scheduled to appear in Rumford District Court on May 3.

Feb. 8 at 5:24 p.m. — Raymond Berryment, 68, of Rumford was arrested on a charge of operating under the influence, by Patrolman Brad Gallant on Route 2. Berryment posted $500 unsecured bail and is scheduled to appear in Rumford District Court on May 3.

Feb. 10 at 2 a.m. — Jason Therrien, 30, of Rumford was charged with failure to report a crash and leaving the scene, by Patrolman George Cayer on Wheeler Street. Therrien is scheduled to appear in Rumford District Court on April 5.

Feb. 10 at 8:07 a.m. — Jesse Peterson, 29, of Rumford was charged with theft, by Patrolman Joseph Sage on Swain Road. Peterson is scheduled to appear in Rumford District Court on April 5.

Feb. 10 at 8:26 p.m. — Jacob Jackson, 19, of Carthage was arrested on charges of operating under the influence and operating without a license, by acting Cpl. Donald Miller on Route 108. Jackson posted $600 unsecured bail and is scheduled to appear in Rumford District Court on May 3.

Feb. 11 at 1:55 p.m. — Joseph Pratt, 55, of Dixfield was arrested on a charge of  operating after suspension, by Patrolman Brad Gallant on Route 2. Pratt posted $400 unsecured bail and is scheduled to appear in Rumford District Court on May 3.

Feb. 13 at 12:50 p.m. — Angela Malchisky, 26, of Rumford was charged by Ptl. Brad Gallant on Lincoln Avenue for Operating After Suspension. Malchisky is scheduled to appear in Rumford District Court on May 3rd.

 Feb. 13 – 3:20 p.m. — Kyle Blodgett, 18, of Mexico was arrested on a charge of operating after suspension (habitual offender), by Patrolman Brad Gallant on Lincoln Avenue. Blodgett posted $100 cash bail and is scheduled to appear in Rumford District Court on May 3.

 Feb. 13 at 3:20 p.m. — James Autry, 51, of Mexico was charged with permitting unlawful use by Patrolman Brad Gallant on Lincoln Avenue. Autry is scheduled to appear in Rumford District Court on May 3.

 Burglary

 Feb. 8 at 5:33 p.m. — Sgt. Tracey Higley investigated a burglary at a vacant residence on Pine Street where oil was stolen. Value of loss: $430.

 Feb. 10 at 8:45 a.m. — Patrolman George Cayer and Capt. Daniel Garbarini investigated the theft of a computer and coins from a locked business office on Congress Street. Value of loss: $1,090.

Criminal Mischief

 Feb. 7 at 2:46 p.m. — Sgt. Tracey Higley investigated damage to a vehicle parked at a Route 2 business. Value of loss: $195.

 Theft

 Feb. 10 at 9:19 p.m. — Acting Cpl. Donald Miller investigated the theft of a rifle from a vehicle on Hancock Street. No value listed.

 Feb. 11 at 12:53 p.m. — Patrolman Dave Hodgson investigated the theft of money and a gift card from a Swain Road business. Value of loss: $90.

 Feb. 11 at 4:12 p.m. — Patrolman Brad Gallant investigated the theft of money from the locker room at Mountain Valley High School. Value of loss: $34.

Wanted

Timothy Jacques, 25 , of Rumford is wanted on an Oxford County Superior Court warrant for failure to pay fines for operating under the influence and operating after suspension. The warrant is dated Jan. 6, 2011.
