LEWISTON — Marie Louise Belanger, 94, formerly of 100 Campus Ave., Lewiston, died Sunday, Feb. 13, at d’Youville Pavilion.

She was born in Lewiston, Jan. 26, 1917, the daughter of Wilfrid and Yvonne Giguere Dulac. She attended St. Peter’s School, and graduated from “Cours Superieure” in 1935.

A pianist in her earlier years, she was a student of Miss Blanche Beaulieu and gave many recitals. She was an active member of Le Foyer Musicale and served as secretary under the presidency of Claire Boisvert. She was a member of the Basilica of Saints Peter & Paul, Prince of Peace Parish, and Les Dames de St. Anne.

She leaves two sons, Paul H. Belanger and wife, Melissa, of Hawaii, and Roger N. Belanger and wife, Pauline, of New Hartford, Conn.; four grandsons, Daniel Belanger of Los Angeles, Calif., Robert Belanger and wife, Kim, of Simsbury, Conn., Nathaniel Belanger of New Hartford, Conn., and James Belanger of Hawaii; two great-grandchildren, Cody and Macy Belanger of Simsbury, Conn.; a stepgranddaughter, Kristin Lee of Hawaii; a sister, Irene Roux of Saco; and many nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by her husband, Paul Emile Belanger; brothers, Wilfrid Dulac Jr. and Henri Dulac; a sister, Rita Dulac; as well as her grandson, John Belanger; and daughter-in-law, Anita Belanger.
