LEWISTON — Germaine B. St. Pierre, 91, of Lewiston, passed away Saturday, Feb. 19, at St. Mary’s d’Youville Pavilion.

She was born in Stoneway, P.Q., Canada, Aug. 19, 1919, the daughter of the late Alphonse and Arthemise Dupuis Gravel. She was the second youngest of 12 children. She was the widow of Gerard H. St.Pierre, who died in 1969. She spent many years in the grocery business in Lewiston and in banking in Connecticut. She was a great cook and enjoyed a good time with family and friends.

She is survived by four daughters, Joyce Acheson of Chelsea, Joline Mooney and husband, Dr. Robert Mooney, of Laconia, N.H., Linda Smith and husband, Frank, of West Gardiner, and Sonia Roberts of Lewiston; a son, Ronald St.Pierre of Poland; three grandchildren, Marcus Niedner and wife, Devon, of West Gardiner, Tanya St.Pierre of Poland and Andre St.Pierre of Utah; four great grandchildren; a brother, Herve Gravel of Harpswell; and several nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by 10 sisters and brothers.
