LEWISTON — Jean Louis Cote, 70, of Lewiston, passed away on Thursday, Feb. 17, at St. Mary’s d’Youville Pavilion.

He was born in Lewiston, June 24, 1940, the son of the late Adolphe and Alice Cote Cote. He was educated in Lewiston schools and proudly served his country in the U.S. Army during the Berlin Crisis. He and his twin brother, Jean Paul owned and operated Cote Bros. Auto Repair on Pine Street for many years.

Jean Louis was a member of Prince of Peace Parish at the Basilica of Saints Peter and Paul and the American Legion Post 22.

He is survived by two sisters, Theresa A. Cote and Priscilla Dubois; and two brothers, his twin brother, Jean Paul and Robert L. Cote, all of Lewiston.

He was predeceased by two brothers, Adrien and Normand Cote.
