AUBURN — Mike Prior, who has appeared on Comedy Central and MTV, will headline the Saturday, March 12, comedy show at the Fireside Inn & Suites. Also performing will be Portland favorite Johnny Cail and Brian Ronan of Boston.
Known for his animated style, Prior’s material is both smart and silly. Performing around New England, he has opened for national headlining comedians and for musical acts such as Weird Al Yankovic, Lori Morgan and Randy Travis. He is a regular performer at the annual Boston Comedy Festival.
Prior is a school teacher by day, a comedian by night, and a new husband and father. His humor is often self-deprecating. “If you can’t laugh at yourself, rewrite the punchline,” he says.
