LEWISTON — Robert R. Bissonette, 35 years young, passed away Friday, Feb. 18, at Central Maine Medical Center, as the result of a tragic snowmobile accident.

Robbie was the first born son of Geary and Louise (Gousse) Bissonette on June 7, 1975, in Lewiston. He was raised in Auburn and graduated from Edward Little High School.

He was currently employed as manager of Mr. Soapy’s Car Wash. Robbie loved his toys and his pets, but most of all, he loved his girls and his family and tinkering on cars in the garage with his dad. He especially loved all the family gatherings at his aunts’ houses and was almost always the first to arrive and one of the last to leave. He was a caring, sensitive young man who was always willing to help anyone in need. We love you and will miss you, Rob.

Robbie is survived by his parents; two brothers, Geary and Ryan; his three beautiful daughters, Ali, Kylie and Kelsee; his paternal grandparents, Roland and Madeline Bissonette; maternal grandmother, Muriel Gousse; a nephew, Ridge; and a very large family of aunts, uncles and cousins; by his special cousin, Jarred, who is in the family’s prayers for a speedy recovery from this horrible accident; and his best friends, Tina, Steve and Dan.

He was predeceased by his maternal grandfather, Maurice Gousse; and his favorite uncle, Marc Bissonette.

The family would like to extend their sincere gratitude for all the support and prayers received during these most difficult times.
