RUMFORD — Patrol officers responded to 65 complaints from midnight Feb. 14 to midnight Feb. 21. Basic traffic stops are not included.
Arrests/summonses
Feb. 14 at 3:15 p.m. — Amy Howes, 28, of Rumford was arrested by Sgt. Douglas Maifeld on Hancock Street on a warrant for failure to pay fines for theft. Howes posted $300 cash bail and was released.
Feb. 16 at 7:52 p.m. — Jeremy Duguay, 25, of Rumford was arrested by Patrolman Joseph Sage on Falmouth Street on a charge of disorderly conduct, assault and criminal mischief. Duguay was unable to post bail, was transported to the Oxford County Jail and is scheduled to appear in Rumford District Court on April 5.
Feb. 17 at 7:37 a.m. — Jim-Bob Clarke, 29, of Mexico was charged with passing a stopped school bus with lights flashing on Hancock Street by Patrolman Brad Gallant. Clarke is scheduled to appear in Rumford District Court on May 3.
Feb. 17 at 12:30 p.m. — Roger Whitehouse, 61, of Peru was charged with operating after suspension on Hancock Street by Patrolman Brad Gallant.
Feb. 17 at 11:45 p.m. — A 17-year-old male from Dixfield was charged with operating a motor vehicle without a license on Veterans Street by Patrolman Dave Hodgson. The teen is scheduled to appear in Rumford District Court on May 3.
Feb. 17 at 11:48 p.m. — A 14-year-old male from Dixfield was charged with illegal possession of alcohol by a juvenile, illegal possession of marijuana and illegal possession of tobacco products on Waldo Street by Patrolman Dave Hodgson. He was turned over to his mother and is scheduled to appear in Rumford District Court on April 5.
Theft
Feb. 14 at 11:40 p.m. — Patrolman Joe Sage investigated the theft of a motor vehicle part from a vehicle on Prospect Avenue. Value of loss: $60.
Feb. 20 at 3:27 p.m. — Sgt. Douglas Maifeld investigated the theft of a snowboard from Black Mountain. Value of loss: $169.
Wanted
Angela Woods, 30 , of Peru and Connecticut is wanted on three warrants for failure to pay fines on two counts of burglary and two counts of theft, and stealing drugs. The warrant is dated Jan. 1.
