TURNER — SAD 52 Adult and Community Education is offering a Winter Guitar Club starting Tuesday, March 1. The six weeks of beginners’ adult lessons will include recognizing a quality instrument, care and set-up, tuning and learning the right chords.

A “Whimsical House” wood carving class will start Wednesday, March 2. Create a wall hanging in cottonwood bark. The use of gouges as well as a carving knife is required.

Also starting March 2, Pilates offers mind and body exercise that will typically result in a 250-400 calorie burn. Lengthen and strengthen.

A Middle Eastern dance free trial class will be offered March 2. No dance experience is needed.

A Take Action Against Bullying workshop will be held Thursday, March 3, that will identify the warning signs of the victim and the bully. Prevention and coping skills will be explored.

A dental assisting course will start Saturday, March 5.
