PHILLIPS — The Phillips Elementary School PTO C.A.R.E. and the Phillips Area Community Center invite families to take part in three winter vacation week events. On Tuesday, Feb, 22 and Thursday, Feb, 24, the PTO will host sledding parties at the school on Route 4 from 1 to 3 p.m. Hot chocolate and cookies will be provided. This is a free event. Bring your own sleds. Children are to be accompanied by an adult.

The ice rink at the Phillips Area Community Center on Depot Street is open to the public around the clock. On Friday, Feb. 25 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m, the center itself will also be open. Skates in a wide range of sizes are available on loan. Refreshments, including hot chocolate and cookies, will be on sale.
