DIXFIELD — A 22-year-old Peru man was arrested Monday afternoon and charged with criminal trespassing. He was also charged with possession of drug paraphernalia.

Dixfield police Sgt. Jeffrey Howe said a Jacob’s Alley woman called the department at about 1:40 p.m. to report that an unwanted person was at her home. She had asked him to leave but he refused, Howe said.

Ryan J. Merrill was released on $500 unsecured bail from the Dixfield Police Department. He is scheduled to appear in Rumford District Court on April 5.
