CHESTERVILLE — The Chesterville Heritage Society will host a talk by Luann Yetter, local author and writing instructor, at 2 p.m. Sunday, March 6. Titled “Scenes from the History of Chesterville and Surrounds,” the talk will be held at the Chesterville Town Hall, Pope Road.
In her talk, Yetter will draw from the research behind her book, “Remembering Franklin County,” published in 2009, and from information compiled throughout more than 10 years as a historical columnist for the Lewiston Sun Journal.
Discussion and refreshments will follow. The free program will be open to the public.
The Chesterville Heritage Society meets monthly at 7 p.m. on the fourth Thursday at the Chesterville Town Office. New members and visitors are welcome. For more information on the upcoming talk or the organization, call 778-3513.
