LEWISTON — Attorney Heather S. Walker of the Lewiston law firm of Laskoff & Associates, has been elected to a two-year term as the District 5 Governor of the Maine State Bar Association, where she is also a member of the Women’s Law and Family Law sections.

As the District 5 governor, Walker will meet with the MSBA’s board members several times each year to review MSBA activities and chart its short-and long-range future.

Walker is a member of the Androscoggin County and Maine State Bar Associations, Maine Trial Lawyers Association, Maine Association of Criminal Defense Attorneys and the Maine Medico-Legal Society. She has been practicing law for 10 years and specializes in the areas of family law and criminal defense litigation.
