As a former selectman for the town of Strong, I wholeheartedly endorse James Burrill for selectman. He will be running against incumbent Mary White.
I have worked with Burrill in my capacity as a selectman and found him to be honest, hard-working, caring and intelligent.
He never made a decision without thoroughly investigating all angles. Sometimes his decision was not the most popular, but he stood by his convictions.
He has consistently supported town programs without the flamboyancy that others seek.
I believe that his honesty and integrity should overshadow any indecision a voter may have.
I really believe that James Burrill is important to the town and important to the board. He has done a lot as a former selectman and could continue to do more if elected again.
