Obesity is a big problem in the United States. It’s starting to put people’s health at risk because they are mistreating their bodies. People should watch what they eat and start losing weight. They need to do this for their own health.

According to the June 2010 National Health and Nutrition Examination Surveys, obesity was affecting 34 percent of all adults ages 20 and over in the U.S. That amounts to more then 72 million people.

People should have more respect for their bodies. National Health and Nutrition Examination Surveys also found that obesity increases the risk of death. It’s not right to die from obesity, and people should get help or take control of their health so they can live longer lives.

People need to know what they are doing to their bodies and what obesity can cause, such as Type 2 diabetes and heart disease.

People need to realize that exercising is important for their bodies.

People need to become informed about the problems obesity can cause and what they can do to stop obesity so they can live longer and healthier lives.
