I am thrilled that there is a bill now pending to stop people from driving with their dogs in their laps.

It scares the bejeebers out of me each time I see a car go by with the pooch sitting there as if it were driving.

Come on, people, use some common sense. Driving these days is tough enough without having the pooch sitting there.

Boy, do I hope that bill passes.
