Nicholas Bourassa of Jay was recently named to the dean’s list at Maine Maritime Academy in Castine for outstanding academic achievement in the first semester of the 2010-2011 academic year. Students named to the dean’s list earn a grade point average of 3.3 or above on a 4.0 scale.

Bourassa, a member of the class of 2012, is majoring in marine engineering technology. He is a graduate of Jay High School.
