NEW GLOUCESTER — The Breezemere Bottom Boys will bring their blend of bluegrass, gospel, folk music and the occasional Beatles tune to the Village Coffee House on Saturday, March 5.

Hailing from the Lincolnville area, band members played publicly together for the first time at the Lincolnville Bicentennial celebration in 2002. They performed at the newly constructed gazebo (designed by current band member Jack Silverio) at Breezemere Park on Norton Pond in Lincolnville Center.

Since then, a number of people playing many different instruments, including the musical saw, have joined the group.

Chris Polson and Rosey Gerry, two of the original Breezemere Bottom Boys, will bring their foot-stomping music to the coffeehouse at New Gloucester Congregational Church at 7:30 p.m.

Tickets, sold at the door, are $10 for adults, $5 for seniors and children. The church is at 19 Gloucester Hill Road.
