POLAND — Earl F. Goding, 84, a resident of 42 Amy St., died early Saturday, Feb. 26, at his residence following a long illness.
He was born in Auburn, Aug. 19, 1926, the son of Ralph and Bertrice (Lord) Goding. Earl attended Auburn schools and was a 1944 graduate of Edward Little High School. He served in the U.S. Army during the Korean Conflict. He married his first wife, Florence, in 1948, and she predeceased him in 1990.
Mr. Goding was very proud of having been employed for Morin Brick Yard for 59 years, retiring in 2001.
Survivors include his wife, the former Mabel Gilbert, whom he married April 6, 1991, of Poland; one son, Norman Davis and his wife, Paula, of Poland; one stepson, Walter Peach and his wife, Joan, of Auburn; three stepdaughters, Joyce Goding of Lewiston, Nancy Simond and her husband, Bill, of Auburn and Georgia Morin of Lewiston; three grandchildren, Adam, Nathan and Kyle Davis; one great-granddaughter, Grace Davis; several nieces and nephews; and one very special niece, Eldora Collins of Auburn.
