FARMINGTON — Nationally known stand-up comedian and University of Maine at Farmington alum Bob Marley will return to campus on Wednesday, March 9, to give a show benefiting the UMF baseball and softball teams.
Marley, who last September set the Guinness Book of World Records for Longest Stand-up Comedy Performance with a 40-hour set, will take the stage at 7 p.m. in Dearborn Gymnasium.
Celebrating 15 years as a stand-up comic, Marley performs in major cities across the country and has appeared on all of the late-night TV shows, as well as in several films. Mainers know him well for his many Project Graduation fundraisers and his lively holiday shows.
Tickets, $15, are for general admission. They may be purchased at the Olsen Student Center during lunch time and at Everyday Music, and online at athletics.umf.maine.edu.
