PARIS — The annual Lenten Lunches will begin on Thursday, March 10, at the Deering Memorial United Methodist Church on the corner of Main and Church streets.

The noon lunches will continue every Thursday for the six weeks of Lent, ending April 14. Soup, salad and sandwiches will be served, followed by a sermonette.

The pastors who will speak this year are:

March 10, Pastor Thomas Myhre of Trinity Lutheran Church.

March 17, Pastor Leslie Foley of Second Congregational Church, Norway.

March 24, Pastor Eric Hanson of Hosanna Church.

March 31, Pastor Doretta Colburn of North Waterford Congregational Church.

April 7, Pastor Donald Mayberry of First Congregational Church, South Paris.

April 14, Pastor Anne Stanley of Christ Church, Norway.

The cost is $6 a luncheon, or $30 for the series. Parking is available behind the town hall.
