Business was brisk Thursday morning as hundreds of shoppers waited for the new Goodwill store’s grand opening. The new store, with 1,600 square feet of floor space in the Auburn Mall area, is three times larger than the former Auburn location. Goodwill spokeswoman Michelle Smith said 20 new jobs were added with the possibility of more to come. The store features a donation drive-through and its popular Reconnect Program in which donors can drop off computer equipment for recycling.
