LEWISTON — Reuben F. Verrill, 75, of Grove Street, Auburn, passed away on Tuesday, March 1, at Central Maine Medical Center.

He was born in Auburn, Aug. 30, 1935, the son of the late Reuben and Florida Bilodeau Verrill. He was educated in Auburn schools and was married to Jeanne C. Berube who predeceased him Dec. 4, 2009. He served his country in the U.S. Marines and prior to his retirement was employed as a mason and brick layer.

He enjoyed riding his motorcycle and sports. He was a proud member of The American Legion, the NRA and the Bricklayers Union, Local 2.

He is survived by two daughters, Debra Russell and her husband, Roger, of Auburn and Bobbi Peckham of Belfast; two sons, Michael Verrill of Auburn and Mark Verrill and his wife, Tanya, of Auburn; nine grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and three brothers, Ansel Verrill and his wife, Carol, of Auburn, Arthur Verrill and his companion, Claudette, of Poland and Marty Verrill of Auburn.

He was predeceased by a sister, Lillian Seeley.
