AUBURN — The Auburn-Lewiston YMCA will present an expressive arts program, “Discovering Your Inner Pathmaker,” from 6 to 8 p.m. on four Mondays, beginning March 7.
“Discovering Your Inner Pathmaker” is designed to promote self-understanding, create insight and direction, foster self-care and provide a sense of delight in life through the use of expressive arts. Art experience is not required.
Elizabeth Park will facilitate the workshop series. She holds a bachelors degree in social and behavioral science with a concentration in counseling. She has a certificate in expressive arts education and facilitating from Salve Regina University. Park is a member of the Global Network of Expressive Art Facilitators.
She believes that anyone of any age can benefit from daily practice of the expressive arts and her goal is to provide the tools necessary to make that a reality.
Those interested should register at the Y, 62 Turner St. The series cost is $60 for members and $125 for nonmembers, Y members can register on-line at www.alymca.org. For more information, contact Park at [email protected].
