AUBURN — Carol A. Hatch, 47, a resident of Kennedy Lane, Litchfield, formerly of Biddeford, went to be with the angels at Hospice House of Androscoggin in Auburn on Saturday, March 5.
She was born in Wiltshire, England, on Oct. 23, 1963, the daughter of John H. Hatch Sr. and Priscille (St. Ours) Hatch. She was educated in Lewiston and Wales schools and graduated from Oak Hill High School in 1982.
She was a very loving and caring person. Carol liked to go out to eat, play bingo, cards, do search word puzzles and play scratch tickets. She loved her cat Lucky. Carol liked to go on trips with the Road Runners of Litchfield, especially to Hollywood Slots in Bangor. She also enjoyed going to the Litchfield Senior Center.
Her son, Johnathan lived with her and she raised him to the best of her ability. She lived her life to the fullest. She had a disability, but that didn’t stop her from doing whatever she wanted to do. She was a very independent person. Carol also loved going to Biddeford to visit relatives.
She is survived by her son, Johnathan R. Hatch, of Litchfield; her mother, Priscille Hatch and her companion, Gerard A. Sirois Jr., of Litchfield; two brothers, John H. Hatch Jr. and wife, Carolyn, of Alaska, and Dennis W. Hatch and wife, Diane, of Litchfield; and many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and friends.
She was predeceased by her father, John Hatch Sr.; her grandparents; and an infant niece, Deanna M. Hatch.
The family would like to thank the staff in ICU at Boston Massachusetts General Hospital, Central Maine Medical Center, Marshwood Nursing Home and Hospice House of Androscoggin for taking very good care of our daughter and also to all our family and friends for their support. Messages of condolence may be sent to the family at www.finleyfuneralhome.com.
