PARIS — The Paris Public Children’s Library is hosting an After School Program at 4 p.m. Mondays when school is in session. Stories with follow-up activities are provided. All ages are welcome.
As March is Nutrition Month, healthy snacks will be provided. The library will celebrate National Nutrition and Health Month, St. Patrick’s and the Coming of Spring during the month. The schedule is as follows:
March 7: “Irish Tales”; activity, pot of gold craft.
March 14: “Pigs Make Me Sneeze” by Mo Willems; activity, “Catch Your Sneeze” art project.
March 21: “I Broke My Trunk” by Mo Willems; activity, “Part 1: Let’s Paint a Green Spring 3D Caterpillar.”
Children should wear old clothes and plan on getting messy as they will begin a paint project using green acrylic paint. As the 3D project will need to dry, it will be completed the following Monday.
March 28: “Spring Stories”; activity, ” Part 2: Decorate and Add Details to Your Spring Caterpillar.”
