Camryn George, 6, of Lisbon Falls, Kathryn Kruzich, center, of Freeport and Gentille Sandy of Freeport go door to door collecting donations for the Hogan family in Lisbon Falls on Sunday. Members of the Encounter Youth Group spent a wet afternoon raising $1,530 for the family that lost two children in a house fire on Friday. “They need help whether it’s sunny or rainy,” said George’s mother Michelle, a co-leader of the youth group with her husband, Rick. “We just wanted them to know that people care,” Michelle George said. The George family lives on Summer Street, just down the road from the Hogan family. “We see the kids out playing when we drive by,” George said. The Encounter Youth Group is associated with the Freeport Seventh-Day Adventist Church.
