This is in response to Stacy Dostie’s letter, printed Feb. 28, “Taking away the rights.”

In her letter, Dostie claims that Rep. Mike Pence, R-Ind., is fabricating lies about Planned Parenthood’s use of federal funds for abortion. Then, further down in her letter, she says, “sometimes women get abortions.” Wow. What a contradiction.

If people want to know more about who is lying,  they need only to read the book “unPlanned,” by Abby Johnson, a true story of a former Planned Parenthood leader. I could also mention the recorded tapes of how Planned Parenthood staffers tell their underage clients to lie about their age so they don’t get their parents’ consent.

I am glad to see Rep. Pence stand up and speak for the ones who can’t.

One only needs to know whose real rights are being taken.
