Quilters meet

RUMFORD — Rumford Area Quilters will meet at 6:30 p.m. Monday, March 14, at the Rumford United Methodist Church, Linnell Street. All area quilters are invited. Show-and-tell welcome as well as questions and ideas. For more information, call 562-7050.

Strathglass Park

RUMFORD — The Rumford Historical Society will meet at 7 p.m. on Wednesday, March 16. The feature presentation will be given by Peter Robichaud and Phil Blampied regarding the Strathglass Park Preservation Society and their efforts to preserve this unique Rumford treasure.

The meeting will take place at a new location, the Lecture Room at Mountain Valley High School.
