Free tax prep

LEWISTON — The Lewiston-Auburn CA$H Coalition continues to urge residents to “Take the Money; You’ve Earned It.” IRS-certified volunteer tax preparers will prepare and e-file, free of charge, both federal and state returns for individuals earning less than $48,362 per year. This service will be available through March 31.

The coalition also encourages eligible individuals to apply for the Earned Income Tax Credit, a federal benefit for low-to-moderate income workers.

Those wishing to schedule a free tax preparation appointment may call 513-3160.
