The First Amendment has been stretched to its very core. I don’t think it was ever written to cover the terrible stuff going on now. The Westboro Baptist Church in Kansas is just an example.

The politicians and lawyers will be the downfall of this country as we know it.

The Supreme Court has taken away the right to prayer in schools, pledging allegiance to the flag and then supports a bunch of people who say “God hates America” and the “only good soldier is a dead soldier.”

If not for the soldiers, people here might not be speaking English at all. They fought for rights and freedom, but I don’t think it was meant for such demonstrations.

If those people feel that way, they can feel free to go live where their feelings are welcomed. They are Jim Jones, the Ku Klux Klan and white supremacy all rolled into one. Their young people are being trained to hate others the same way some sects in the Middle East train their young people, and they don’t even know why. We condemn them for what they do but we can do it because we have the First Amendment that says we can.

Those who choose to burn a U.S. flag should wrap themselves in it first.
