AUBURN — Jeannette B. Therriault, 94, of Kensington Terrace, Lewiston, died Thursday, March 10, at Androscoggin Hospice House with her family by her side.
She was born in Lewiston on Dec. 15, 1916, the daughter of Joseph and Malvina (Pivin) Morin.
She was the widow of Raoul F. Therriault, whom she married on May 7, 1938, and who died on April 18, 1989.
She worked for many years at Hill Mill and Continental Mill and later for Hi-Style Catering for 20 years until her retirement.
She was a longtime member of Holy Cross Church.
Jeannette enjoyed the holidays and all family gatherings where her wonderful cooking will be missed. She loved cooking, especially making her favorite dish of macaroni and cheese. She was an avid reader who was devoted to her Catholic faith.
She is survived by her daughter, Claire Allard and husband, Arthur, of Lewiston; her sons, Raymond Therriault and wife, Claire, of Lewiston, Richard Therriault and wife, Claudette, of Sabattus, and Marcel Therriault and wife, Claire, of Lisbon; 14 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren; and sisters, Cecile Cameron and Lucille Letourneau and husband, Roger, all of Lewiston.
She was predeceased by her daughter, Dorothee Therriault; her son, Robert Therriault; sisters, Juliette Lapointe, Lucienne Blanchette and Laurette Albert; and by brothers, Lionel and Romeo Morin.
