Chelsea and Christopher


PORTSMOUTH, N.H. — The wedding of Chelsea Raegan Michaud and Christopher Donald Palmer was held on July 24 at the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Portsmouth, N.H. The Rev. Robert Vaillancourt celebrated Mass and Deacon Norm Levesque, uncle of the bridegroom, performed the marriage. Noel Palmer, father of the bridegroom and Fawn Palmer and Cindy Levesque, aunts of the bridegroom, provided the music at the Mass.

Mrs. Palmer is the daughter of Maria Michaud of Portsmouth, N.H., and Dean and Diane Michaud of Vero Beach, Fla. Mr. Palmer is the son of Noel and Elaine Palmer of Rumford. He is the grandson of Leah Palmer of Mexico and the late Albert and Marguerite Levesque and Stanley Palmer.

The sister of the bride, Casey Michaud, served as matron of honor. Serving as bridal attendants were Kelly Palmer, sister of the bridegroom, and Eve Bruneau, friend of the bride.

Eric Bordeau, friend of the bridegroom, served as best man. Groomsmen were Joel Desjardins and James Colburn, friends of the bridegroom. Music at the reception was provided by a DJ along with Noel and Don, father and uncle of the bridegroom.

The bride is a 2001 graduate of Noble High School in Berwick and from the University of New Hampshire in 2005 with a bachelor’s degree in biochemistry and zoology. She is currently pursuing her doctorate degree in osteopathic medicine from the University of New England in Biddeford.

The bridegroom is a 2002 graduate of Mountain Valley High School in Rumford and from the University of New England in 2006 with a bachelor’s degree in medical biology and chemistry. He is currently pursuing his doctorate degree in osteopathic medicine from the University of New England and plans to graduate in May.

The couple is currently residing in Warwick, R.I.
