AUBURN — Bertha M. Ouellette, 77, passed away March 12.
She was born Sept. 24, 1933, the daughter of Florene Laflame and Albert Morphy. She attended St. Louis School in Auburn. On Aug. 24, 1950, she married Roger Ouellette, and together raised three children.
She worked many years at Bates Mill Fabrics, retiring in 1960 due to work related injuries. She then devoted her time to being a homemaker. She was a real nature lover, enjoyed feeding the birds and squirrels and any strays that would come to her home. She especially loved her Pomeranian named “Chico,” who died a couple of years ago.
She is survived by her sons, Danny and his wife, Kelly Ouellette and Paul and his companion, Ruth Cronin; her daughter, Marlene and her husband, Dick Caron; and seven grandchildren, Shelly, Shauna, Eric, Autumn, Andy, Catherine and Wendy.
She was predeceased by her loving husband, Roger in 1999; her brothers, Almo, Alphee and Jerry; and sisters, Rita and Carmen.
She will be missed by her children, grandchildren and companion, Joe.
