Arrests/summonses

March 9 at 12:37 a.m. — Matthew Bellegarde, 28, of Rumford was arrested by Cpl. Lawrence Winson on Route 2 on a charge of operating under the influence. Bellegarde posted $600 unsecured bail and is scheduled to appear in Rumford District Court on June 7.

March 9 at 8:45 p.m. — Elizabeth Smith, 18, of Rumford was arrested by Patrolman Brad Gallant Lincoln Avenue on a warrant for failure to pay fines for operating without a license. Smith posted $170 cash bail and was released.

March 10 at 12:02 a.m. — Troy Blanchard, 21, of Mexico was arrested by Patrolman Brad Gallant on Dix Avenue in Mexico on a charge of trafficking in dangerous weapons. Blanchard was also charged with illegal possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia. Blanchard was unable to post bail, was transported to the Oxford County Jail in Paris and is scheduled to appear in Rumford District Court on May 3.

March 10 at 12:04 a.m. — Kurt Thurston, 33, of Andover was arrested by Cpl. Lawrence Winson on Route 2 on a charge of operating after suspension. Thurston posted $400 unsecured bail and is scheduled to appear in Rumford District Court on June 7.

March 10 at 3:10 a.m. — Michael Hogancamp, 34, of Meredith, N.H., was arrested by Patrolman Brad Gallant on Route 108 on charges of operating under the influence, operating after suspension and failure to stop. Hogancamp posted $300 cash bail and is scheduled to appear in Rumford District Court on June 7.

March 10 at 11:55 p.m. — Ryan Robinson, 34, of Gardiner was charged by Patrolman Brad Gallant on Franklin Street with illegal possession of marijuana. Robinson is scheduled to appear in Rumford District Court on May 3.

March 11 at 2:03 a.m. — Mark Towle, 22, of Burnham was arrested by Cpl. Lawrence Winson on Bridge Street on a charge for violation protection order. Towle posted $600 unsecured bail and is scheduled to appear in Rumford District Court on June 7.

March 11 at 8:30 a.m. — A 16-year-old Rumford boy was charged by Sgt. Tracey Higley on Hancock Street with assault. The juvenile is scheduled to appear in Rumford Juvenile Court on May 3.

March 11 at 10:24 p.m. — Matthew Bellegarde, 28, of Rumford was arrested by Cpl. Lawrence Winson on Knox Street on a charge of violation conditions of release. Bellegarde, who was additionally given a summons on a charge of illegal possession of marijuana, was unable to post bail, was transported to the Oxford County Jail and is scheduled to appear in Rumford District Court on May 3.

March 11 at 11:08 p.m. — Raynold Lee, 43, of Rumford was arrested by Patrolman Brad Gallant on Route 2 on a charge of operating under the influence. Lee posted $700 unsecured bail and is scheduled to appear in Rumford District Court on June 7.

March 12 at 12:38 a.m. — Joshua Henderson, 20, of Peru was charged by Patrolman Brad Gallant on South Rumford Road with illegal possession of alcohol by a minor. Henderson is scheduled to appear in Rumford District Court on May 3.

March 12 at 1:05 a.m. — Seth Haynes, 20, of Peru was arrested by Cpl. Lawrence Winson on South River Road with operating under the influence. Haynes posted $1,000 unsecured bail and is scheduled to appear in Rumford District Court on June 7.

March 12 at 2:15 a.m. — Mariah Sweetser, 19, of Rumford was arrested by Parolman Brad Gallant on Wyman Hill Road with furnishing a place for minors to consume alcohol. Sweetser posted $400 unsecured bail and is scheduled to appear in Rumford District Court on May 3.

March 12 at 3:45 a.m. — Alexandra Nixon, 25, of Portland was charged by Cpl. Lawrence Winson on Route 2 with operating after suspension. Nixon is scheduled to appear in Rumford District Court on June 7.

March 12 at 8:52 p.m. — Tyler White, 20, of Rumford was charged by Cpl. Lawrence Winson on River Street with violation conditions of release. White is scheduled to appear in Rumford District Court on June 7.

March 12 at 9:10 p.m. — Edward Fontaine, 52, of Mexico was charged by Patrolman Brad Gallant on Rumford Avenue with illegal possession of marijuana. Fontaine is scheduled to appear in Rumford District Court on May 3.

March 12 at 9:10 p.m. — Daniel Gautreau, 61, of Roxbury was charged by Patrolman Brad Gallant on Rumford Avenue with illegal possession of marijuana. Gautreau is scheduled to appear in Rumford District Court on May 3.

March 12 at 11:06 p.m. — Damen Korhonen, 19, of Rumford was charged by Sgt. James Bernard on Hancock Street with illegal possession of alcohol by a minor. Korhonen is scheduled to appear in Rumford District Court on May 3.

March 12 at 11:35 p.m. — Marc Chartier, 33, of Rumford was arrested by Patrolman Brad Gallant on York Street with violation conditions of release. Chartier was unable to post bail, was transported to the Oxford County Jail and is scheduled to appear in Rumford District Court on May 3.

March 12 at 11:35 p.m. — John Hansen, 24, of Carthage was arrested by Patrolman Brad Gallant on York Street with violation conditions of release. Hansen was unable to post bail, was transported to the Oxford County Jail and is scheduled to appear in Rumford District Court on May 3.

March 13 at 1 a.m. — Deborah Chamberlain, 29, of Rumford was arrested by Sgt. James Bernard on Hancock Street with furnishing a place for minors to consume alcohol. Chamberlain posted $600 unsecured bail and is scheduled to appear in Rumford District Court on May 3.

Theft

March 10 at 3:42 p.m. — Patrolman Dave Hodgson investigated the theft of a photograph from a Waldo Street business. Value of loss: $2.

Wanted

Ralph Gannon, 49, of Bethel is wanted on an 11ths District Court warrant for failure to appear on a theft charge. The warrant is dated March 9, 2011.
