AUBURN — The Corporate and Community Services Department at Central Maine Community College will offer Leadership in Healthcare, a five-part series for managers and supervisors in the health care profession, from 9 a.m. to noon on Thursdays, March 24 through April 21 . The cost of the program is $315 and includes materials. Registration deadline is Thursday, March 17.

This course will introduce participants to the fundamental principles for effective leadership in a range of health care settings.

Program highlights include how to interview and hire the best candidates, delivering well-planned employee orientations, communicating performance expectations, understanding leadership styles and handling difficult situations.

The course will be facilitated by Thomas Reichard. Reichard is a recognized leader in health care human resources administration with more than 30 years experience.
