LISBON — Community Service Club members of Lisbon High School welcomed Lewiston Rotarian Bill Denehy, who attended their meeting on Feb. 9. Denehy told the history of Rotary and its service club for students ages 14 to 18, the Interact Club.

“We currently have close to 100 students in our Community Service Club in Lisbon,” said CSC advisor, Monica Millhime. “Students volunteer in our schools and throughout our community. Their efforts strengthen their team building and leadership skills with each area of assistance they embark upon as a club or an individual team member. An association with the Lewiston Rotary Fellowship offers our students another opportunity to enhance their skills and reach beyond our current levels of assistance.”

Students will discuss the Interact program guidelines, structure and service projects and more at the meeting on Wednesday, March 16.
