DURHAM — A Freeport driver was injured Thursday afternoon in a crash at Rabbit Road and Route 136, Maine State Police Trooper Daniel Hanson said.
Hanson said Beth King, 46, complained of back pain and was transported to Central Maine Medical Center by Durham Fire and Rescue.
He identified the second driver as Mark Cota, 22, of Harpswell. He escaped apparent injury.
King was driving south on Route 136 and Cota was entering the highway from Rabbit Road when the vehicles collided, Hanson said. The crash remained under investigation Thursday night.
Damage was estimated at $4,000 to Cota’s 2003 Chevy pickup and at $5,000 to King’s 2009 Toyota in the 4:55 p.m. crash.
